Default Kuryakyn 7508 Floorboard Spacers

I'm looking to install floorboard spacers on my 2018 FLDE Softail Deluxe. When looking at the left side ( clutch side ) I'm confused about adding spacers to move the floorboard out 3/4 inches and how it will affect the shift rood since the shift arm is attached to the floorboard bracket. At first glance you would think the whole assembly would shift outward, Kuryakyn says it will not. Anyone install these on a 2018 - 2020 softail Deluxe ?

Have a look at the DK Custom units as they have a spacer for the shift rod. I have them on a Fatboy and it relaxes your legs in a more natural position by having the spacers in. Well worth the mony. Had mine shipped to OZ.

OZ Gary has a great picture with the spacers installed. If you don't have the spacer for the shift linkage, the shift rod will be on an angle, not straight. Notice the space in the 2nd picture between the floorboard and the primary. Now image the shift rod moved over to the left that much.
I bought the Kuryakyn set and had a spacer made for the shift linkage. And yes, the floorboard spacers made a big difference for me. Well worth it.

Certainly not knocking the Kuryakn set up but with the DK set up the linkage arm runs truer to std and not on an angle. Just an observation and it probably does not change the function of gear changing

OK, I'm convinced. Just ordered the DK floorboard spacers and shifter spacer. Can't wait to try them out. Thanks for the input and pics.

Does anyone have a picture of this shifter spacer installed on this DK Custom kit. I have problem to figure out or imagine where this piece is mounted exactly.

Also I understand DK custom is 1” vs Kuryakyn is 3/4” correct?
