What is your cold and hot idle RPM's on your M8 107 engine ? After my Auto-Tune with the FuelPak it seems that when down shifting to first gear at a stop even when the bike is warmed up it takes a little longer for the RPM's to reduce . Thanks
if you are up to temperature (96 degrees or above according to the PV), the first 10 seconds of idle is higher than after 10 seconds ...or whatever you put in the idle speed table
There are other things going on in the background when coming to a stop ...i.e. still moving
Aftermarket is likely to change those 850s to 950 and adds a bit to the 64 and 80 rows to blend that in. I have mine set at 900 but that's a personal choice.
your while still moving question however, involves other factors, that I'm not sure are in a table anywhere you can see ?? don't know
'22 FLXRS - Idles normally when stopped. When rear wheel is moving above 2mph and coasting (neutral -or- clutch disengaged) the idle increase to 1500 occasionally 2000. The idle goes back to normal immediately when the rear wheel stops rolling. Motor cold, warm, hot, always the same.

Make sure your clutch switch is working because that will make this worst. This is a common problem on these bikes. If you can't start your bike in gear with the clutch pulled in then your switch is not working - a quick hack fix is to put something like a quality double-sided tape between your lever and where the rubber plunger is - this works for a while until you can get the switch replaced. But even with this being ok these bikes seem to have a mind of their own regarding fast idling. I've had this problem since day 1 and HD seems to think it's normal. I know some guys who don't have these issues so it appears to be bike dependent.

Any thoughts?

You must be an H-D service tech. No, they all don't do it. Fortunately, found another post with identical problem. Found a hairline crack in the cheap plastic intake manifold. Shame on you H-D. $20K bike and plastic manifold. Replaced it with an S&S aluminum one. Good coasting idle, just like my 2 previous M8s.
