My right hand side blinker stopped working, and I don't know what to do.
I've narrowed down the issue to the switch, or to the wire. I took a look at the soldered joints I made when I extended the lines... they all look good.
The rear light blinkers still work
I took apart the switch... this looks good to.
Is there anything else I can do besides replace the switch and the wires? Is there a secret fuse?
Found the problem.... Cleaning the handlebar instruments too often..... You can see the bottom three contacts corroded. I'm going to try vinegar and baking soda to try and remove the rust.
There is a liquid product named "CLR" that removes most corrosion and rust. Easy wipe-on/wipe-off and available at Home Depot, Lowe's, and most grocery stores.

I've had good luck cleaning those contacts with a pencil eraser. Not sure I'd want to put anything acidic (vinegar, CLR) on a PCB.
Good find, OP! I’ve never had one apart, cool to see what it looks like. I’d use electrical contact cleaner. Available at electronic stores, if there are any more of them.

So I tried the electrical cleaner, but it didn't remove the rust. The vinegar and baking soda worked like a charm though.
