used the fp3 twice now on previous bikes simply to just flash a new map depending on what stage 1 options I went for.. never got into the detail or auto tuning or playing around. On my FXBB now toying with the idea of trying the dynojet this time round.
Both do pretty much the same if your not going beyond stage 2. If you go stage 3+, then PV has more adjustability. Just a preference on whether you want the PV device or use own smart phone. Fuel Moto prices both at about $450 and I believe provide better support over time.
I have both, at this moment, I have 6x FP3's in use and one PV. I prefer the easiness of the FP3, most of the time you carry your smarth-phone with you so the FP3 is always a companion
while the PV is a extra thing you need to attach on the handlebar ( like a GPS ) if you want to do a auto-tune for example. If you only go for exhaust and intake, go for a FP3.
