Intersect thought. The Revo doesn't look or sound like a Harley. And they wonder why sales have gone downhill.
But it's literally better in every aspect an engine can be vs the M8 except simplicity. Other than that, there's nothing any OEM air cooled twin can bring to the table vs the Revmax. Not even the 131 can mess with it. There's only so much heat an air cooled engine can dissipate. 🤷♂️

The LRS special version for this year will have an M8 engine in it. The teaser clearly showed an M8 engine with pushrod tubes.
My best guess is a stock 117, and maybe if HD has some bones to pick with indian over the powerplus... a 131 stock standard.
Could you imagine how incredibly f#$^ed indian would be if HD slapped a 131 plus FXRT fairing with Boom Audio onto an LRS, for less than 23k? There's no contest there, people would flock to the 131 FXRT LRS over the Challenger in a heartbeat, and indian would be sweating bullets because they'd have f#$%all to compete with.
PanAm already slapped the FTR, HD has a potential scout killer aleady being teased, and now watch a 131 LRS come out with that fairing that has integrated audio.
I dont think Harley has that kinda guts though.
Im betting its gonna be a 117 stock like what was in the CVOs.

All H-Ds do not need to look and sound like a 45 degree V-Twin. Half the time, I prefer the thrill of 150HP and high redline over the enjoyment of a traditional H-D. The PA was a grand slam. Don't fault H-D for trying. I'm all in on a Sport Glide with the PA Rev Max engine. I just wish H-D was.

I will be be in line behind you, a Sport Glide styled cruiser with Rev Max power would be the bomb!
As far as spoke wheels, maybe some folks just like the look. I bought a 2021 Crimson/cream with the 107 mainly to get a chrome package. Was glad to see that the Crimson/cream was no longer an option. Makes mine easier to find. Also happy to see more chrome models. Was Crimson/cream an option in 2020?

PA and FTR and not competitors. That's like comparing the new Sportster S to the new Chief. Not the same market segment at all. Can't find it now, but one "insider" on the forum said it won't be a 131, it's a 117. Even with the 117, there are a lot of riders that want a light weight touring scoot and Indian doesn't have it. The new Chief is excellent for one person, but not built for two at all. Your are right about going after the Scout, though. This is where Indian has really taken in new riders that are all starting to move up to the new Chief and baggers. Will be really interesting to watch this space.
