Need Help with Clutch Cable

Default Need Help with Clutch Cable
I'm not going into detail, but I broke the lower section of the clutch cable on my 21 Sport Glide. Unfortunately, there is a back order until late May.
Has anyone done away with the two piece cable and gone with a cable from an earlier model? I figure this would be an option, but I need to know what earlier model has the same length or a slightly longer (2-3") cable.

When I installed the 14" apes on my 2021Heritage, I used the old style cable with no problems, I don't remember the length. You can contact MagnaChrome, they will help you
