If possible, I'm needing to separate the upper clutch cable from the lower section of the clutch cable. Can the cable be separated where the adjuster nut and jam nut are located underneath the rubber ribbed boot? I've figured out how to remove the clutch cable from the left handle bar housing, now I just need to know how to separate the cable into where the rubber ribbed boot is located on the LH front frame downtube. My bike is a '95 Ultra and mucho thanks in advance!
BTW; the reason I need to do this is because I need to route a Kennedy Technologies (www.cellset.com)cable/wire through the rubber groment/hole in left side of the inner fairing located underneath the voltmeter. Currently, there is not enough space to do so without first removing the clutch cable.
Thanks for the reply Nathan, I appreciate it! Say, do you live in Russelville, Arkansas? If so, I will be passing through on I-40 on Sunday on my way to Eureka Springs, Ar. to visit the folks at:www.cyclegadgets.com.:)
