but wouldn’t laminar airflow go over your head with out the loud drone? Sounds like you have mild buffeting that will turn into head shaking buffeting at high speed. That’s the way I experienced it with windshield’s in the past. Good luck with it.

Thanks. We may well be splitting hairs though.

It doesn't change with speed - I hit 118mph yesterday (allegedly) and there was no vibration or head shaking. The air is very smooth, just noisier than I would like, so I need to wear ear plugs.

It may also be partly to do with my helmet and the wind hitting the top vent of it - but it's a Schuberth C4 Pro, which is a pretty quiet helmet.

I have the same issue with my Pan America - I need a screen that is a couple of inches taller. But for that I have a Puig Touring screen arriving later today which will hopefully solve the issue.

So I was able to finally put some miles down with the Klockwerks fairing on the ST. I'm 5'8 and was already pretty happy with the stock fairing, but wanted to give this one a shot. I'm super happy to report that it eliminates any wind pressure off of the top of my helmet (Simpson Mod Bandit) and makes it quite a comfortable ride at highway speeds. Fitment is great, looks factory on the bike, and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Is your stock windshield for sale now? I'm going to need one until Klockwerks or someone comes out with some taller options.

Not at this time. I'm keeping most of my stock parts for now.

"spoke directly to Clearview and they are planning to develop multiple size (up to those heights) options & shades"
Good news, @ adamsrotors. I run a Clearview on my FXRP, and have run one on my Roadglide. Excellent product.

I can’t get a pic of the two on the front because they’re covered by my fairing support now but you can use the support bracket as a template for where to drill.

The little plastic plug next to the tank bolt is one of the spots you’ll have to drill.
I received the upper fairing mount. I am a little confused about the attachment to the steering head.

As you can see in the pictures above, the attachment points that go to the steering head are in a straight line. I'm just wondering about how this works with the steering head being curved. Can you give me some insight?

The new 2022 frame has a different steering neck and two "triangles" have been added to make it flat in the front and to add two small thread holes to fix the fairing mount.

You can see them in the picture here under I took (lower red circle):

exciting update...

I'm now confirmed in on the prototype project w/Clearview and have a shield on the way.
I'll be testing 3 different variations and helping finalize the product before official release.

be on the look out for my review thread and pics to follow, once farther along.

from CV:

"There will be 4 height options based on Harleys OEM 6” screen and will come standard 3” wider than the stock screen 1.5” on each side. The material will be thicker than the stock screen at .177”.

-6.5”
-8”
-9.5”
-11”

Our prototype screens will also come stander with our recurve option and the option to delete the vent hole.
The screen will be available in 3 tint options plus our standard clear."
