Not to my mind. Buffeting is when it shakes your head around - i.e. non-laminar airflow. My airflow is laminar, just noisy.
but wouldnt laminar airflow go over your head with out the loud drone? Sounds like you have mild buffeting that will turn into head shaking buffeting at high speed. Thats the way I experienced it with windshields in the past. Good luck with it.

Thanks. We may well be splitting hairs though.
It doesn't change with speed - I hit 118mph yesterday (allegedly) and there was no vibration or head shaking. The air is very smooth, just noisier than I would like, so I need to wear ear plugs.
It may also be partly to do with my helmet and the wind hitting the top vent of it - but it's a Schuberth C4 Pro, which is a pretty quiet helmet.
I have the same issue with my Pan America - I need a screen that is a couple of inches taller. But for that I have a Puig Touring screen arriving later today which will hopefully solve the issue.
So I was able to finally put some miles down with the Klockwerks fairing on the ST. I'm 5'8 and was already pretty happy with the stock fairing, but wanted to give this one a shot. I'm super happy to report that it eliminates any wind pressure off of the top of my helmet (Simpson Mod Bandit) and makes it quite a comfortable ride at highway speeds. Fitment is great, looks factory on the bike, and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Is your stock windshield for sale now? I'm going to need one until Klockwerks or someone comes out with some taller options.
"spoke directly to Clearview and they are planning to develop multiple size (up to those heights) options & shades"
Good news, @ adamsrotors. I run a Clearview on my FXRP, and have run one on my Roadglide. Excellent product.
theres no wiring where the holes go but you have to drill 4 of them. 2 larger diameter ones on either side of the neck (pic is from a 22 LRS at the dealership - the hole comes predrilled from the moco on the 22s but plugged with plastic) and then two more smaller ones on the front of the neck and those two are going to be tapped. I cant get a pic of the two on the front because theyre covered by my fairing support now but you can use the support bracket as a template for where to drill.
The little plastic plug next to the tank bolt is one of the spots youll have to drill.
I received the upper fairing mount. I am a little confused about the attachment to the steering head.
As you can see in the pictures above, the attachment points that go to the steering head are in a straight line. I'm just wondering about how this works with the steering head being curved. Can you give me some insight?
The new 2022 frame has a different steering neck and two "triangles" have been added to make it flat in the front and to add two small thread holes to fix the fairing mount.
You can see them in the picture here under I took (lower red circle):
I'm now confirmed in on the prototype project w/Clearview and have a shield on the way.
I'll be testing 3 different variations and helping finalize the product before official release.
be on the look out for my review thread and pics to follow, once farther along.
from CV:
