Great write-up and pictures; thanks. Good luck with your wife; my spouse doesn't listen to me either.
Follow Up. My PY Fixstand arrived today. It is a quality piece with a flawless finish. To check to make sure it would work on my bike (2019 FXLR lowered 1"); I dry installed it (No Locktite); installation was very easy. However, I am glad I did a dry install. Since I lowered my bike 1", the PF Fixstand over adjusted the lean angle. The bike leaned WAY too much (much more than stock lean angle. The good news is that while I had the Jiffy Stand off the bike, I checked the bottom of the foot pad; the wear was even front to back on the foot pad since I lowered the bike. Once I re-installed the Jiffy Stand without the PF Fixstand. I checked to see if the angle of the Jiffy Stand no longer angled down and tried to dig into the parking surface. Sure enough, It did not. Moral of Story: Lowering the bike compensated for the OE poor design. Recommend the PY Fixstand for any M8 Softail that is standard height or raised 1". But, not needed if you lowered your bike.

If you decide you want to sell it, I have a friend in Henderson that is sure to want it. They're returning from Sturgis now and should be back in a couple days.
He said he reach out to you last night. But if he didn't it's because he's been fighting his way through rainstorm after rainstorm trying to get home from Sturgis. He did say he wants it though.
FYI, check your oil on the kickstand before and after this install, afterwards because of the extra lean my dipstick showed 5 dots lower for the oil level, yes I checked it before and after the fixstand was installed.
