If your bike has been lowered that would in essence "lengthen" the kick stand, wouldn't it?

Which I imagine would make it worse.

I just emailed them inquiring on this... My 2018 Breakout is lowered 1" front and rear and depending on where it is parked, it stands a tad bit upright instead of leaning. So from the looks of it, this product may "lengthen" the kickstand outward allowing it to lean more. Just don't want it to lean too much.

I watched YouTube videos of people adding washers but that was on older softail models. not sure if this method would work on the M8 models.

For those who have "never encountered this", well, lucky you, I guess. Maybe it's less of a problem on some models? I can verify that on the Fat Bob, it's an infuriating situation. You cannot, cannot, cannot deploy the kickstand while the bike is held upright (parallel to the ground), you must lean the bike to the right to be able to get the kickstand to even deploy. And that's on level ground. If you're on a downward slope (such as on the side of any road anywhere ever), it's pretty much impossible to safely deploy the kickstand, you have to lean the bike so far over to the right that only tmac0333's superhuman strength can keep it from falling over before you can get the kickstand extended. On the occasions that I've had to stop on the side of the road, I usually have to back the bike in perpendicular to the road in order to even be able to get the kickstand down, or, if it's a lonely country road with zero traffic, I can cross the road and park on the opposite side, where the tarmac angles downward to the left. There it's easy peasy to deploy the kickstand, but the bike does end up leaning very far over to the left in that scenario, and facing the wrong way into any (nonexistent) traffic, so it's still far from an ideal solution. And forget about it if there's oncoming traffic.

Note, it's never a problem on level ground, a slight lean to the right gets the kickstand down. But when the ground is angled, it's a whole different story. And the ground on pretty much every road I encounter is peaked in the center and angled downward towards the sides, for water runoff purposes, so -- the whole situation is absurd.

FixStand is on the way, I'll report back if it helps. Shipping charges were ungodly expensive, but the CYBER22 coupon helped take $5 out of the sting.

Good luck, I thought the fixstand was a joke. It leaned my bike over way too much and it was wobbly when parked on the stand.

I removed mine and returned it. The threads failed, but fortunately I discovered it before it fell of or the bike tipped over. Wife hated it anyway.

Still no solution. Damn. What a difference from my sportster. Flip out the kickstand, stand up and walk away, don't look back. Not so the Heritage. I've had it for three years so I've just learned to live with it.
