I put the Kuryakyn ISO grips on my Low Rider ST - the clutch side went on easy with a little rubbing alcohol swished around inside. Once it dries it will hopefully be solid - it doesn't lock in solid to the clam shell like the Avon's did that I had on there before these.
For anyone that put the Kury ISO grips on stock bars, did you have to use any adhesive or did they stay put? They came with adhesive but it is dried up rock solid in the tube.
When I swap grips I swipe my wifes hair spray and spray inside the grip and the bars before installing, let it dry over night at least before riding. Running a hair dryer on them might speed up the process.

OK thanks if it is not solid tomorrow I'll take it back off and give it a little hairdo with some hairspray. I have seen that trick but never tried it. Seems like it would be easier to remove than adhesive if you ever decide to swap them.
I tried hairspray. A few weeks later the clutch side grip worked its way loose. NOT FUN at speed.
Pulled it off, cleaned the bar real good, and smeared super glue on (same as what comes with them). Rock solid until the day I decided to change them out. I found Kuryakyn was now making heated ISO grips, and that was irresistible.
Trying to get the super glued grip off was impossible, I had to destroy it to get it off. No matter, now I have heated ISO grips and am thrilled with them.
I stuck in on with some the wife's finest hairspray a couple hours ago - I'll try it in the am and see if it sticks. If not I'll order some Renthal grip glue. I have super glue but I am afraid I won't get the grip clocked exactly where I want it, so it matches the throttle side, before it sets. My OCD would force me to rip it off if that happened and as you said the grip will be toast at that point. If it was a round grip e.g. the same all around then of course it wouldn't matter. But the ISO grips have the rubber thingeys (that is the technical term) on each side of the grip and I want those on the top and bottom.
Update - the hairspray hack failed, I was able to easily spin the grip around. So on to the Renthal grip glue when it gets here in a few days. If that doesn't work, it's either super glue or grip tape! I will get this sucker locked on one way or another! The saga continues...Merry Christmas!

Glue always comes with them, at least for me. Sometimes the Glue is hard when you get them. I tried the hair spray thing, didn't work. I bought some regular Glue and worked perfectly..I wouldn't get Gorilla glue, to Strong.
