Default NOCO Boost cables--mounting?

Hey guys,

i just switched out my cold dead battery for my noco lithium on my 23 heritage. When I was doing it, I wanted to put the noco boost cable pigtail, GBC007, so I wont need to strip the bike apart every winter. For the life of me, I could not fiind a reasonable route to have the cables clear from rubbing on anything, including the starter and the rear spring. It was 55 and I was itching for a ride so I ditched the boost cables, but I want to tackle it again. Battery has front/side/top terminal mounts so the battery cables are mounted like factory still.

Has anyone successfully mounted this onto their bike? Curius which direction/where you routed the cables. I was hoping to hide it under the seat or side covers, factory tender is remaining and that already hangs out the side cover.

This is the boost cables in question

Thanks guys!

I actually had some silicon tubing leftover from my external breathers, worked well to cover the long extension when unscrewing the positive thru the frame, just made it more jammed. Actual ccover like that might be easier to manipulate. The garage I store in winter doesnt have power, once I get it running for the season its on the tender in my garage if its gonna sit a while. Im gonna give it another shot on a day im not trying to get done fast.

thanks for the idea!

Why run another pigtail? Use the factory SAE connector with a NOCO adapter.

I actually use that now, that adapter just connects their chargers, the boost cable is to connect their jump packs.

Right or wrong, I like to tywrapp the cables tight so no vibration to rub insulation. I like to use loom or tape near rub points.

Ahhh, that makes sense then. I just go to the starter lug with the jump pack clamps when anyone needs a jump. Lug is right there, eazy peazy.

It may be "eazy peazy" on your Touring model. Have you tried it on a 2023 Softail?

I had my Indy put on the NOCO cable. It is much thicker than the stock battery tender cable because it has to handle the power from the NOCO battery booster. NOCO makes an adapter so you can connect the booster cable to their maintainer.

My cable comes out on the left side of the bike on my Road King, and on the right side for my Street Bob

I've got one to fit, no immediate plans on routing or mounting it, I'm thinking it only needs to be accessible so anywhere under the seat will do for the (hopefully) rare need arise to jack in to a booster pack.
