Default ABS bleeding issues front hose replacement

Hi folks,
Put on new bars and needed longer upper brake hose so i replaced it. It of course was junk and leaked so I decided to get a whole new upper+lower front hose from Magnum Shielding which of course includes the ABS junction. I CANNOT bleed this, i'm getting NO tension at the lever at all. With the new hose I of course had to disconnect the ABS lines at the junction up front under the triple trees. I see no leaks anywhere. I've bled manually, with a mity vac, and with a syringe from the caliper up. NOTHING. I no longer see any air bubbles at all coming out. I've manually pumped probably 1200 times over the last several hours. I give up. I'm no stranger to bleeding brakes of all kinds including this bike. I've also bled my ABS previously with the IT Mercenaries kit which worked great. I'm wondering if I need to do that now, but I'm afraid of introducing air into the ABS system.

Rant over. Sorry it's been hours of bleeding for nothing and I'm p!ss3d.

1. Year and model of your motorcycle would be useful.
2. You may have introduced air into the lines that go back to your ABS Controller if you have a linked braking system.
3. The IT Mercenaries kit as I understand it cycles your ABS and bleeds out any air in the system.
4. Dual or single Rotor Brakes on the front?

Thanks, 2019 FLHC. single rotor. I just ran my ITM abs bleed. Abs motor turned on but didn't pulsate so air must be in the system. No clue how to fix it.

If you have pedal in the rear, then you have fluid in that part of the system. Make sure both master cylinders are full and you may need to pump the front up a couple of times while running the ITM. Good Luck.

I do have rear pedal but the brakes aren't linked. I ran the ITM twice with the same result. Abs motor runs but doesnt pulsate i think because no fluid is getting to it. I've never taken a bike or car to a shop in my 40 years. Feeling defeated for sure.

Not familiar with the ABS system on the HD .... Did you bleed ( bench bleed ) the master before putting it on the scooter? ... Have you tried gravity bleeding? ... Do you have a Mighty Vac? ... Just throwing ideas out there ... Good Luck

I apologize if this sounds obvious, but I’m not there to see how you’re doing things. When you bled the front brake using the MightyVac, how much brake fluid did you end up flushing through the lines? The fluid has to go from the MC, to the ABS module, back to the brake caliper and to the MightyVac. It may take a half a bottle of brake fluid to remove all the air while being sure the fluid level in the MC doesn’t get too low and suck air.

Sometimes going in stages helps. As on reverse bleed with the syringe the lower line up to the block. Then reverse bleed from the lower block up to the master cylinder.

thank you everyone for your input, much appreciated! Ultimately, I had to re-bleed the master numerous times by loosening the banjo at the master. then I did a mityvac bleed from the caliper. I went back and forth between these numerous more times. i finally got a good lever and then i used my ITM app to bleed the abs module. lastly, once all the old fluid was out of the abs i did a mityvac bleed again to have all new fluid in the lines/abs. after all of that malarkey, i decided to also bleed the rear since i was already in there.

thanks all! i did a real short test ride and everything is good for now until the next project.

keep em shiney side up.
