Replacing the battery is another **** job, it's so tucked in. Notice how the positive terminal is all shielded makes me dread the day I might need a jump. Just getting the trans cap threaded was ridiculous. One positive thing on these M8's is adjusting the clutch, it was really easy and was perfect on the first go. The new spring loaded clip seems to be an improvement over the old method.

Extending the wiring and cables for taller handlebars was WAY easier than it was on my 2009 Fat Boy.
No picking apart connectors, no soldering wire extensions. Only swap the top half of the clutch cable, and upper brake line. Took a fraction of the time

But **** that transmission fill. Jeez.

I carry a NOCO jump pack, and they make a jump cable that attaches to the battery that I also purchased. I routed it down through the right side cover, it hangs below it.
I've never needed to use it.

Get yourself one of these for your transmission. There are a few threads talking about them. I have them in my FatBoy and RKS. Greatly simplifies the filling/checking of the transmission service.

First time you use it, Verify that the level readings are correct by comparing it to the Mothership supplied Dip Stick. On the RKS the correct level is just above the top line. 🤷

I'm not sure of what all the years or models are that this one fits. But so far it fits a 2020 FatBoy, 2023 RKS and a 2025 Street Glide.

$20'sh USD delivered, via eBay. If I could find something like this for the engine oil dipstick it would be awesome. I'm so tired of that plastic bugger, self tightening to the point of needing tools to loosen it.

Umm... If I understand the 2 lines on the dip stick correctly, the top line is the "Up Right" reading. The bottom line is the Jiffy Stand reading.
