Ive had the bike for 3 months, brand new. I noticed the nav prompt volume was very low, while my music level was high. All of this is through my non-Harley Cardo Packtalk Edge. I found the prompt volume live in the settings menu (not the nav menu). It was set low and I raised it to the highest level of 10. Solution solved, until last night. The volume was low again, and even with my music off, I could hardly hear it. I pulled into a gas station to check the sound level, but it was still at 10. I tried changing the volume while the nav prompt was playing, but still no change. I havent changed any audio settings, and all other aspects of the Cardo is working fine.
Anyone have any ideas why my nav prompt sound level is low?
I do not believe I raised the volume on the Cardo while the prompts were playing, but when I change the volume on the Cardo for music, I see the bike’s volume level bar go down; I think the nav works the same way, but I’ll give it a try. That doesn’t explain how the volume dropped yesterday. It’s been staying the same for over two months.

It's a different situation but when I ride with a friend who also has pack talk, in order to hear her louder I lower the volume on my phone (music) and raise the volume on my pack talk.
YZR, you were right! During a ride today I raised the navigation prompt volume using the Cardo, not via the bike's volume control, and the volume is plenty loud now. I adjusted the volume while the nav was actually speaking, otherwise, I think the music volume would have changed.
Hey all, I was using the Navigation today and the prompts to my helmet (HD Outrush Modular) was not very loud. I have my prompt volume set all the way up in the sound settings. However, when the prompts would play and I press the volume up button they do get louder and the bar is not all the way up. I got the sound maxed out but on the next prompt it was automatically lowered again. I have the auto volume control off. Not sure if I am missing a setting somewhere or if this is just the way it is, but if anyone has any insight I would appreciate it!
I kind of figured as much. I guess I just have to deal with the pains of a first generation model change. Yeah we'll, I still like the bike, even if I have had to fight the dealer to give me what I paid for lol.
