If you are going to use an adapter and connect through the built in charging cable, you should not have any issues either but make sure you know which fuse the charging cable uses and take extra fuses.

Probably good idea to test the gear out prior to the trip. If you do blow a fuse, disconnect the heated pants first to limit the amperage used.

Have a good ride.
thanks Cool. I am planning on using the connection under the seat. I bought the extension cable because I read Harley doesn’t provide enough length.

I have gerbings gloves, heated jacket liner, dual controllers, heated boot soles and I’ve never blown a fuse on any Harley, sportster, metric, or airhead using the battery tender plug. I keep my revs up slightly at stops to not strain the battery, but other than that and dressing properly, I’ve ridden all day in the low 20Fs.

Of course, modern gear may be higher amps as my stuff is vintage 2000 gear, but works as well today as it did 20 years ago.

Yea that's the wired controller, you're just going to have to find a place to mount it on the bike and run the cables.

I highly encourage you to connect the heated gear direct to the battery using the cable provided. That removes that load from the bike wiring.

No issues with the fuses; I've been using gloves, jacket and pants liners.

I have a friend who just bought a 2025 Street Glide Ultra and there is a heated gear connection under the seat.

I expect your ‘25 CVO would have same.

The 24 and up have factory ports specifically for this.

That's fine. I have an older model, and tend to tuck it into a pocket or my chaps or such.

There is the plug in power port built into your bike for heated gear. But if you're not going to use that, or not able to because of plug incompatability, you'll need something like this to plug the controller into:
Amazon Amazon

I ordered the bluetooth kit thing Gerbing sells on their website. I will have to return the other one. After watching some videos, that is a lot of cables to deal with. I rather just have the bluetooth thing outside and everything else in the jacket.

One more question. IF the bike would blow a fuse for some reason because of all these gizmos, which fuse would that be?

It will be the fuse on the Gerbing connector to the bikes battery.
