Default Shotgun install help

Having a rough time getting the shoulder bolt in on the right side due to this tube and bolt in the way. Can I remove them? Not sure what they are and could not find it in the service manual on what they are for. Looks like if I take the hose out something is going to leak.

I am an idiot lol. I let it down to get the compressor in I just had to jack it back up. Problem I am running into now is the shoulder bolts do not fit easily into the Shotgun shocks. Slides in and out of the stock shock fine but the not the new shock system. Making it near impossible to thread into the swing arm.

Adjusting the height of the rear tire will help you get away from the oil drian line.

+1 on the never seize. The shoulder bolts were really snug for me as well. Just keep adjusting the jack under your rear tire and find the right spot. They will definitely go in there.

The stock shoulder bolt is used on the rear eyelet of the shotgunshock and it is a precise fit inorder to insure solid suspension and no slop. Some bolts may be tight and can be made to fit by rotating bolt in bushing. The bushing has a teflon liner and conforms to the size of bolt as the purpose of the teflon is to wear on the shouder of the bolt and aid in lubrication.

It was very snug for me too. I had my friend help hold the shock up and give the bolt a little push with a screwdriver while I turned it. I spent a while trying to do it myself, but with my friend and the screwdriver it basically went right in.
