So I was at the dealer today to make a payment for mods and was talking to him about the Shotgun Shock.. He said they called ShotGun to tell them they wanted to be a dealer/distributior and they said they were suprised that the company is composed of only one person so they are strongly urging me to go towards the Progressive air Tail!!! I'm doing some searches and am looking for advise and experiences!!!!!!
Precision Harley Davidson.....Kozy, I googled the Air Tail and didn't see anything good but the threads were old..At the dealer they had a rocker with the Air Tail installed and it looked good but read the ride sucks but like I said, old threads!!!
Idk about the guys who make the Shotgun Shock air ride being only 1 person.. but from what i've read on this forum, apparently 1 person is doing really good with it. If i had $1500 to blow, I would have put it on my Lo, instead i got a set of 422's for $200 on ebay, so that'll hold me for awhile
No Nothing wrong with a one man company, its just that they were concerned about customer service and reliability but I explained everything I've heard and he said they will get me what ever I want but wanted me to be aware!!

I have Shotguns and they are the best overall. IMO the airtail has one airshock and one reg shock not that good. go to the shotgun site and read for your self they are a very well made USA product and the cust service is way above anyother I have talked to. When you call you get the man. Try that at progressive. There are not many dealers for the Shotguns but if you want the best airride then get the Shotguns. JD owns the operation and also is the cust service and more. they are made from billet with internal valves and one air line from the compressor to the shock. If that line breaks it won't bottom out as others do and there are only two companies that have adjustable rebound and hight on the fly. Hey one dealer I know warned me not to buy them too but I did anyway and the best thing I ever bought for the scoot. there are well over 10 k on them so far and 2 years still going strong

I have never experienced nor have I ever read of a company with 5 or 5000 employees that provide better customer service or reliability than JD at Shotgun Shock. In fact from my experience as the number of employees goes up the number of satisfied customers goes down.
