Since you are talking about mp3 gain.
If a song was recorded clipping and Mp3 gain lowers it to as said 93 db level is the song harmful or just will still have clipping audible and at a safer lower gain level? I hope the wording of question is clear.

I am using my first regained cd and it had about 7 song on it that said there were clipping by a few db's they were in red before I ran mp3 gian on them.

All jokes aside the credit is all yours my friend. The different volume levels of my music was driving me crazy!
I was just poking you, no credits needed - - you know me by now right...
MP3Gain is relatively easy to use and does remove clipping in the songs as well as it helps those that have a variety of types of music including old and new stuff as this usually causes huge fluctuations in volume (and running random mode it annoys the HECK out of me...).
just do not use the 89db "standard setting" - too much difference with your other sources on the bike if you are one of those that (accidentally) switch sources... (like me ).

you will be fine (assume the original was f.e. 98-100 db range).
you can alwaysd check the regained files again and perhaps run a couple of analysis runs over the track (different DB gain settings - only test!) to see how much clipping is still there... will it hurt to have a bit of "clipping" left? I don't think so.
