Default BT's New Pro Line 7.1

I have been reading here how most people love their BT 7.1's. Since I am trying to make up my mind on some new tunes, I am very interested in everyone's experience with the new Pro Line 7.1's. BT is about to have the new tweeter bracket that will allow us with 2014's to use the Pro Line in the fairings. I would like to hear from people who have them and what they think of them. Thanks in advance!

So you liked the 7.1's in your set up? Did you ever have an issue with the regular 7.1's?

Yes I did but the pros are not worth the upgrade. I got a new amp from BT Saturday road today 500 mi and it seem a lot better. Still on the fence about bt

I love my Pros. I could tell a noticeable difference between the regular 7.1's and Pro's so for me I feel the upgrade was worth it. Now that is not saying the regular 7.1's are not quality speakers. I think any speaker subjected to the harsh environment in which we put them is susceptible to a varied life span. We are like junkies chasing that initial high so we end up pushing components beyond limits trying to find that same sound at 80 MPH as we had in the garage upon the initial install when we were grinning from ear to ear. I have gone through several brands chasing that initial buzz, Hog Tunes, J&M, Alpine, Hertz and Hat speakers have all bitten the dust (using various amp set ups). The Pro's come with a hefty price tag but then again so do any high quality speakers. The difference is that I know if one of the Pro's take a crap they are covered by a lifetime warranty. If I go out and shell out an equal amount or more on a quality name speaker and it takes a crap then I more than likely I am left with crap (at least after the initial warranty runs out). It's all a matter of your own preference.

I just got off the phone with John and it is my understanding that the pro series can handle more power than the regular 7.1"'s. I run the 7.1"'s with a an amp and they rock. No need for me to upgrade but it all depends on how extreme you are going with your system.

If you guys need BT stuff give me a call, I will happily provide discounted pricing.
