I've been researching via the Audio Forum for the past month or so & There is a Ton of info here.
I have a 2009 Electra-Glide Ultra Classic & I have already invested in a SS PN4.520D amp, Sony DSX-S310BTX HU, BT Retro Kit, & somehow acquired a pair of Polk DB651 speakers (apparently after a few beers I used Amazon's 1Click Purchase Button instead of the Save for Later Button)
However... I still have not made up my mind on which speakers I should get.
Every time I think I know, I read another post that makes me 2nd guess my choice.
I'm also torn between 4 & 6 speakers. Fairing, Lower Fairing, & Rear Pods, or just Fairing & Rear Pods.
I have around $400.00 left in my budget.
I'm into all types of music from 1940s Jazz to Heavy Metal (Louis Jordan & Lemmy are both Gods in my book)
However most music will be 80s Rock.
I should also add... That as a Bass Player I would like to hear some bottom end up front, while the wife would rather have an evenly clean sound.
The DB651 can be used or sold at this point...
Please Help!!!
speakers: "low budget" is Infinity 62.11i. many of us run them. great clear sound... lows though is not the strength of them (not bad, but there are better speakers out there to get the lows you want...
"best speaker" BT7.1 (Biketronics). you just missed the great group discount deal.
I recently installed them and all I can say is WOW.... trey keep going...
BTW low end, mmmmmmmmm NOT GOING TO HAPPEN on the freeway, unless you decide to pull a trailer with 2 18 inch subs and a generator for the amps running those puppies.

You want the Biketronics 7.1's up front and the infinity kappa 62.11i in the rear for your wife. Titan II speakers if you go lowers. That's as good as it gets.
Thank you all for the input.
I called Biketronics today & they let me in on the Forum Deal.
I purchased the BT7P1s today... They even gave me credit from the Forum Deal on the Retro Kit I had already purchased.
What a Great Company to work with.
Now if Spring would hurry up and get here...
Thanks Again...
HD Forums Rocks!!!
You might be able to put the polks in the back and hook up some speakers in the lowers in series and still get plenty from them. 6 sets of amplified sound with a set of 7.1's up front is some serious send. Especially clean sound from the sony HU.
