2014 amp install questions
I have a 2014 SGS that I'm putting a JL Audio M400/4 marine amp and Hertz HCX165 speakers. I ordered vtwin audio connectors to make cut free wiring. I ran my wires through the wire tray under the tank and ran a ground directly to the battery too. Looking for help with a few things.
1) Should I add any batting to the speaker pods?
2) What flash do I run?
3)What is a good way to mount the amp securely and cleanly to the radio? I'm thinking spacers and small bolts.
4) Anyone have a picture of an install?
5) Where do I put the gps antenna?

On another note your JL amp is only pushing 75 watts at 4 ohms and your Hertz speakers are power hungry. Is this a 2 or 4 speaker set up?
