you can put these over them: Hydrophobic Grill Cloth for Bagger Audio™ Saddlebag Lid Kits
Glue Speaker Fabric to Lids using a suitable plastic adhesive, apply a bead of glue all the way around the grill area. Plastic adhesives are available at any auto parts store (car emblem adhesive works well). Press the speaker grill fabric firmly into the glue making sure to stretch the fabric as you go so there are no ripples. The tighter the fabric is stretched the better it will hold water out! Once the glue is dry and fabric is secure, punch out the 4 speaker mounting holes using a sharp knife or tool.
