Default Adding intercom to classic

I need some help please. I have 2006 Electra glide classic I added rear speaker pods off of a 2007 ultra and a radio from a 2012 cvo that has the rear speaker option activated. I purchased a ultra rear speaker/ cb/ intercom wiring harness off of a 2007 ultra and I would like to add the intercom. My question is will the factory wiring harness that I purchased work for this. Or do I need to purchase the " non ultra overlay harness " that I keep reading about? thank you for your help.

Ltlrace, I recently added cb to my wife's 13 Electra Glide Classic. I had to purchase the PTT button, wire harness for the PTT button, lower housing for the left control, center console pod and harness and the plug in the console, the non ultra overlay harness plus other items like the atenna associated wire. I also ran into an issue with some harness that I did not have but comes with a new cb module. I purchased mine used. I have another thread here in Audio about it.

The ultra wiring harness I bought comes with the cb modual and the center console with the console wiring. I think all that I need is the PTT lower control switch is that correct ? Where does the cb modual mount.

I had to buy the non ultra overlay to be able to use the cb but you say you have the harness from an ultra so I really don't know if the cable you have will work or not. The cb mounts on top of the radio inside the fairing. I am adding a link to Granite State Harley Davidson's OEM parts finder that I used to refrence the correct year ultra parts I needed to turn my wife's into an ultra. After I located the correct parts and part numbers from this site, I googled the parts and then bought what I couldn't find on ebay or craigslist from my local HD.

Thanks for the advice. That's a great way to find out what I'm looking for. It looks like the harness that I bought has a part # 70160-04. But the one I need is 70160-6. So I'm not sure what the difference is. I will have to wait and see when I get it if it works.
