I just upgraded to the PN4.1000D from a RF PBR300x2, using the Biketonics 7.1's in the fairing, and my speaker lids will be here next week from Bad Dad, going with the BT 6x9's. The speakers aren't cheap, but lifetime warranty is a big plus and even at 80mph I can hear them clearly. I bought a wiring kit off ebay similar to this one.
haze324- From everything I've read so far it should fit, I'll find out next week for sure it's 10.5 inches long so I hope I read correctly. I know it won't fit on my current mount so I contacted one of the sellers on ebay that makes mounts to see if he'll make one for me, if not I'll make a pattern and have my dad make one up. I'll be sure to post up some pictures of the install once I get it all done, still have to have the lids painted and it seems matching the Daytona Blue Pearl isn't an easy thing.

It's 10.5 inches long on the frame....but the speaker/power/ground ect. terminals stick out about another inch. It is a HUGE upgrade in sound from the PBR.
I'm going on a ride in the morning, when I get home I'll pull the fairing off and check it out. I'd do it now if it wasn't so late. If it doesn't fit I'll have a brand new amp for sale, then back to the drawing board, ugh.
theres a guy on here in another thread that already has that amp mounted in a 14 sg...hope he is right because i have one on the way to replace my pn4.520
im not sure yet...could i use bt 6.25,S or do i need bigger?
Well, I wouldn't say you NEED bigger but in most cases bigger is better. The Biketronics 7.1's are the one's you want if budget permits. They will give you a bit more midbass on the low end. The Infinity Kappa 62.11i's are very nice 6.5 speakers as well. Can't go wrong with either one.
