About 1 1/2 years ago I installed the Boom audio amp and speakers on my 2014 Limited. Today I discovered that the 2 front speakers are no longer working. It appears I have only tweeters working, no mid or low ranges. I put the orig stock speakers back to verify it was not a amp or head unit.
So......
According to the Harley web site the Boom speakers have a 2 year "limited" warranty. Im going to try for a free warranty replacement, but if I have to put out money I would rather have other options.
Would there be a sound problem to mix front and rear speakers?
I had the radio flashed after installing the Boom system, will that create any sound issues?
Spend your money on something better . I don't know what you price range is but boom stuff is over priced and not worth it you can get a better speaker for alot less
Match the impedance of the new speaker to the old and you should be fine, however I wonder if doing so will void the warranty on the amp. HD wants you to use their products.
