Anyone installed the Biketronics BT4180.14 amp that can give a review regarding its performance compared to stock 2014 FLHTK?
What speakers did you use with this amp? How did they sound?
Check out Jim's post below of his 4180 with some Arc Moto speakers. That amp is as solid as it gets on our bikes. You'll find lots of folks on this forum happy with the performance of that amp. I've had just about every amp that fits on our bikes and the 4180 keeps up with all of them.
Ive had HOG Tunes amp,... better than stock... ( original 35 rms per channel), Arc 125, ...better... (75 rms per channel), Soundstream PN4 520D...better than Arc...(100 rms per channel), then the BT 4180...Wow great amp..warm sounding and powerful...180 rms per channel. Not cheap but great amp with life time warranty. I would buy it again in a heart beat!
I went from the 2180 to 4180 and love this amp, small & powerful, nothing but high marks for BT..... Bill is awesome to deal with and don't forget your discount from HDF. Enjoy your new tunes.

I thought it was a good trade off for the warranty , and hoping deck will take care of the adjustment's if I can figure it out and if BT ever ships me mounting kit .
I have it in my Rushmore Road Glide, with Arc Moto 602 in the dash, and BT 5x7's in the CVO lids. VERY HAPPY with my system, even with the flash problems,, when they're resolved, it's going to be better I'm sure! (No Bass or Treble control, nor fader)
It's a great quality, very powerful amp....I just don't understand why they don't give a gain adjustment or crossover setting.
Hi Guys,
With our 2014 and up amp kits you can use our output adapters to adjust the gain, as well as change level front/rear or upper/lowers depending on how your bike is setup.
We have found that a large percentage of people see a **** and think it should be turned to 11, as well as not having the equipment needed to set gains properly. That might be OK (besides sounding bad) when you have an amp that puts out maybe 75 watts peak, but our amps are capable of doing major damage fast with the gains set too high.
I would like to make a version of our amps with more adjustments, unfortunately it is on a long list of new products that we are trying to get done so I don't have any eta.
