Took my bike in for service and to get the HU flashed back to stock and they informed me that I cross threaded the windshield screws. I guess I did some damage with all the times I pulled the fairing to work on the sound system. I know for older bikes there is a kit to remove the inserts and replace them


Is there anything for Rushmore fairings?

 

Honestly not sure. Might want to try this question on the Rushmore section as I'm sure others have stripped theirs out as well. Rushmores are in the Audio section, but not as much as the pre's....
