Question for those that know better

Just purchased biketronics 4180 amp, 7.1 fairing speakers and hogtunes lids with biketronics 6X9's. It will be a while before the lids get painted. I would like to install the 4180 and the 7.1's in the fairing for now. Would it cause a problem with the amp if you only wire two channels?

I've done the same thing on mine, but I'm just waiting to do the front lowers. It sounds so good, even cruising along at 85 on the highway I can crank it up and still sounds great!

I had a pair of Hertz HCX165's and PBR 300X2 ( will be in classified tonight) and that sounded good but I was surprised at the clarity and volume that the 4180 and 7.1 have. Can't wait to get the lids painted and add the 6X9's
