Iron Cross Audio question
I am planning to do an LED conversion to make the backlight on my HK radio match my 2010 Ultra Limited white lights in the dash. In filling out the form, one of the options is for "Conversion W> Updates & Modifications".
What are the "updates and modifications"? If my radio seems to be functioning well, what will these add or change?

I don't know...never dealt with them I just know that they can do that...sorry i can't help more

I believe they update your radio firmware and fix some common problems with the radio such as weak mounting brackets. Depending on your year you may or may not need either of those. Call them, they are awesome, and will explain everything. I had the bluetooth audio and rca-outputs added.. didn't need updates or modifications but mine was from a 2013.

I believe what they're saying is that the backlight modification cost is $175, but if you pay to get other work done (updates and modifications) they'll do the backlight mod for $120.....or $125 depending on which page you're looking at on their website....lol

I've had mine in their shop, ICA on several occasions, it's in there now getting RCA pre-amps and a blue tooth upgrade, always have great service and quality work.
