Audio help
Pretty much finished up everything tonight. Was able to avoid paying big money to get my Harley Boom lids modified or by purchasing a new set of aftermarket 6X9 lids. Instead, another forum member posted some 6x9 brackets for the Harley Boom CVO lids from VTWINAUDIO, that worked like a charm with some modification to the lids. I can't thank you guys enough for pointing me in the right direction. The first video shows my original aftermarket system. The second video below is a little less than half volume. I could not really crank it because it was late when we finished and did not want to disturb my buddy's neighbors. If you listen with headphones or even through your car system, you can really hear the bass now. Sound is much warmer using the 4180 and the power of this amp really shows.
Before at full volume running a Diamond micro 4 with a set of Focal 165KRCs in the fairing and HATS 5X7s in the rear with a 2amps on, 8 speaker flash. Sounds good, but totally lacking bass and not nearly enough volume to be at 14 bars.
Now with volume less than half running a Biketronics 4180.14 amp kit with 2 BT line levelers, Biketronics 7.1 Pros and Focal 165 KRCs running in parallel with ARC Audio Moto 6X9s in the lids and stock Ultra flash. A much warmer sound over all. I really like the 692s. Clear highs, nice bass and these speaker have a sealed voice coil to keep the rain out. I will also be testing my Infinity 693.11i's and a Set of Pioneers. Both sent to me by fellow forum members. Thanks guys! More than likely the 692s will be my primary speaker with one of the other two being a backup set.
Once I get the front of the bike buttoned up and outside, I will post another video pushing the volume.

Thanks for you approval and help, guys! Quick question for those who use the BT Line Levelers with the BT4180... If I want to get a bit more bass from the rear speakers, which direction do I adjust the HPF for the rear channels?
Maybe give Bull a call when they open up to see if it would be feasible or wait for someone else to chim in
.
What do you have the bass set at on the HU?
Thanks Bert! Yes, the Focals and the 7.1 pros are in parallel and sound great together the ARC 692s are on the rear two channels. The base sounds good, But I know it has to get better based on what everyone is saying about these speakers. In my opinion, there should be more depth coming from the rear. I spoke with Mike at Biketronics today and he gave me some tips on setting HPF, but was pretty adamant about using a meter when doing this. what happened to the good old days when folks set their systems to what audibly sounded good to them?
