My bad!!!! The effing unicorn was seen dead on the GROUND!!!!

OR

The only time I had an anomaly with an amp was when I grounded to the HU mounting bolt so I will always ground to the designated ground at the battery. Which is where this micro amp will be grounded!!!!!!!

T,

Did you install the Kickers in the bags already? If so, how do you like it in parallel with the Focals. My honest thoughts on the kickers is that they are great sound for the money. They have a very similar sound to the Hertz. Warm, good SQ, not a ton of bass and the Hertz can get louder but the sound is quality. They will do for now until you get this figured out and sound damn good. An upgrade WILL be an upgrade from those with a second amp. I've got a few mini amps on the radar, just waiting for some specs on what will fit for you.

As for wiring, I would keep the lid Focals to the 4180, and a micro amp (hopefully bridged) to a set of Moto 6X9's.

Number 5. Costa Rica the Del Rey!

Kickers are installed and running very good in parallel so don't get me wrong, I really dig my set up. Kickers are very good quality speakers for the $$$$. Just would like a bit more bass to compliment the Focals as they are doing exactly what I always expected, crystal clear, hard hitting punch, and loud.

Will get amp tray dimensions soon. Getting my **** kicked by work. Should get to it by tomorrow night, then will patiently find the perfect micro and perfect bass 6x9 to round this thing out, for now.

As always, thanks again!!!!

You need to raise the tabs on your latches.

Try bending the latch tabs to make the latch hold a little tighter. This may help to stop the rattling.
