There's a difference of 50 watts per channel at 4ohms and 125watts difference per channel at 2ohm.
If your planning future mods you'd be money ahead to switch amps now as the SS pn4.1000 will power whatever your heart desires.

Gan,
Knowing that u r the ARC SME, would this type of SS stealth amp do well bridged pushing the ARC Moto 692s? RMS 250 bridged for the SS, but there are a couple of other options that are sized right for under my hood and will push from 250 RMS and up but just want to see if this amp or similar and 250RMS+ is in the wheelhouse for this speaker.

At first glance it also looks like this speaker will sit good inside the bag side mounted with maybe a very small spacer & weather stripping.

Thanks!!!!

T.

You could do the b2 or b52 for about the same money. I'm gonna say that 250 is overkill for the motos. ...

That's a damn good lead!!! I'm gonna pull the hood today and get exact measurements for what will fit on the JM amp tray next to my BT4180. Was thinking I might only have room on the tray for this 5 1/2 inch cycle sound amp but might be able to squeeze another inch out of the tray area. Might have other options under there as well.
My dragon snapped my panties pretty hard when she saw the speaks in the bottom of the bags as apparently this his "her space" so putting the amp in the bag is gonna be a tuff sell. Might eventually get an upsized tour pack from the razor for road trips and then the bags will become all mine!!!!!!!

Thanks for the lead!!! These never came up in my search for compact amps.

That cycle sounds amp is rebadge of this NVX. Pretty big mark up!! A few folks have used it and AAWAV tested it and it does rated power. Could be an option bridged and I think better than the SS stealth. When you have some measurements let us know.

You're welcome. What speakers did you end up installing?

Not a fan of that amp. Not because it's a bad amp. But why purchase that amp when you can get the PN4.1000D for a few dollars more? The economics makes no sense. No bang for the buck. Getting back to to Moto's If you check out the Moto thread HDAUDIOMAN put 300 watts to the motos and they performed flawlessly. They love power!!
