2 part ? For today...

Got a set of biketonics bt477 (4ohm 6.5), a set of infinity 62.11i, and a soumdstream pn4.1000d amp..

Which set should I put in batwing/ which set for lower fairings?

Leave the biketronics at 4ohm or cut them to 2?

 

I'd put the Kappas in the fairing, they will play louder, and provide better low end in the fairing.......

.....but how are you going to put the BT's at 2ohm?

 

Wasn't sure if you could run the bts in parallel or not?

Dumb question I guess.

If there ok to run at 4 ohms I will. I'm not a sound system guy by any means. Just asking the best set up for the stuff I got.

 

You're good with you got man! There's plenty of juice behind that amp to get PLENTY of volume.

 

In my experience with both sets of those speakers, whichever you put in the fairing will be the ones you hear better. I preferred the 62.11's in the upper, with the BT's in the lowers. It won't matter to the amp that one set is 4 ohm and the other set is 2, providing you don't put a BT and 62.11 on the same channel.
