I know this has been covered before but I can't find the info and have done lots of searching. Kinda confused about a few things.
Am I hurting myself with trying to set the EQ on the app and adjust the settings on the head unit?
Someone had a list for the slope etc... Anyone still have it?
And finally is it possible to adjust BT audio while using app? There are settings for tuner, CD, USB etc. Just not for Blue Tooth. Maybe not current app?
Really any input on this HU is greatly appreciated. I just bought, and have not installed yet, another one of the same HU for my car so I can spend more time with it, and learn all the settings and options.
I am a believer in the set it and forget it like haze just told someone else, just wanna make sure I'm doing it the best way.
Amp RZ4-2000
Fairing BT 7.1
Lowers BT 6.5 Titan IIs
Rear pods RF Power Series 6.5s
Thanks all and sorry for the novel

All my adjustments are made on the head unit, and I don't use the app. The unit came with a remote that I use to scroll through the menu and make selections with, and I chose one of the offered eq slopes, but can't remember which one off hand. I set everything at volume in the garage. Once I'm moving, I only use the hand controls. Btw, having run 6 speakers off that same amp before I was wondering if your pod speakers are 4 ohm or not.

Yes the rears are 4 ohm and right now I have the rears and the lowers running on the rear two channels, but Gann and a few others recommend I run all 4 BT up front on 2 channels and the rears on the rear. I will change that soon and hope to leave it all alone, until someone has a 3000 or 1000D for sale, then will change to that, maybe? Ya know, it's never ending......

Yeah, I made the jump from a 2000 to a 3000 myself, it was worth the $50 difference. I have my lowers and lids on the rear channel too, hadn't thought to change it up.

I hadn't either but when the recommendations came in from some of the guys who have been the "go to guys" I figure they've already done it with success!!!!

So if I remove the APP, will the sound still be affected by the settings I had, or can I reset the HU and start over? Not sure if it was kryinggame or JPJ or who it was, but someone had a simple list of settings to follow that they loved for all types of music, but cant find it anywhere. Again thanks.
