Default high level ground ?

PN350.2 feeding 2 kappas in the fairing.
amp comes with an adaptor to connect speaker wires from hu to amp. there is a ground wire on this adaptor. is this used/connected to ground?
if so where should I ground it. the amp will already be grounded with 8g wire likely to the battery. this high level ground is very thin guage and very short. id need to add to it to ground it anywhere.

Also when connecting existing speaker wires to high level adaptor am I using a spade connector, soldering, butt splice ? whats best? Theres already a female spade connection on the existing speaker wires.
thanks, the helps muchly appreciated.
