That's going to sound great. We'll help you with the tuning of the amps and radio when you get there. Rain cover --- yeah, the V Twin is the best one but $$$. I use a 20 dollar Biketronics one with no issues.
Only you think you have to consider is running power and ground from the radio to both amp. You can run two sets of power and ground, or one set and use a distro block in side the fairing. Both ways work. I'd also get some polyfill and put behind the Arc's. Run a search here tons of pics.
