Polarity and Phasse Phone App

There is a phone app for android and iOS called "SpeakerPop" that works excellent to make sure your speakers are all in phase. It's $5 bucks but was worth it to me as me being an idiot had one speaker wired reverse. Just a note, BT 6.5's and Focal Krc have the tweeter 180 degrees out of phase with the woofer. You play their pop sound and put your phones mic up to the speaker, the woofer should read + and on the tweeters (of at least these two speakers) the tweeter will read - if wired correctly.

So if im reading it correctly, i also need a cable to run from my phone to the amp to play the signal?

No, you download their sound file and play it through your cd, or thumb drive. OR, you can plug your phone into your thumb drive(if you have one) and play it right from the app but you need a long enough cord to reach each speaker with the microphone side of your phone. I couldn't get it to play through Bluetooth on the phone app but it worked with the phone plugged in and I have a 6 foot cord so I could reach the rear pods.
