Default SS PN4.1000D Weather Proof

Does anyone do anything to weather proof their PN4.1000D It seems like it could get moisture under the fairing, but I don't want to do anything that could cause heating issues?

As long as the seal along the bottom of the windshield and around the outer fairing is intact you should not have a problem.

I was at the dealer the other day talking with the service manager. I noticed the fairing wasn't installed correctly. Pay attention when putting it back on they have gaskets to keep all the electronics dry. Your amp will be fine.

Good advise. The Rushmore fairings are more difficult to reinstall then in previous years do to the addition of the vent. The windshield doesn't seal as well either. For this reason I installed a windshield trim piece to spread the contact area out more evenly.
