Just a heads up. Focal DOES NOT like their product in motorcycles. Even the Focal GURU Peter Jensen has a hard time with Focal to make it all work with him being the Focal guy. They may work and do well but man they sure are relentless. I was spoon fed more to talk me out of running their product than you can fathom. My point is be wary of opinion over fact. Opinion can be given in a factual way. When you go back and rethink what was said and check on it you may be surprised. With that said my attempt to jump on the Focal bandwagon is over.
man there is so much crap posted out there and folks believe it because it's a so called "guru". I've seen some of the stuff Jensen has posted and surely he's has tons of audio knowledge but like many of these vendors he's married to one product. It's a shame when you see regular Joe Bob say "this must be great because vendor XYZ knows so much". I remember just recently a guy running a PBR300 asked if his amp was enough to run a set of Arc Moto 602's, we told the guy he needed a better amp....then he posted he spoke to Fosgate and they told him it would be plenty. Tech advice!!!

A little homework goes a long way!!
Focal was talking me out of using their products was what I found interesting. As soon as motorcycle was said the conversation didn't end well. 2 different techs too. One voice and one email. Either way I am set for now and DS18 neo has my focused attention.
DS18 is 20 minutes from my house. I've been there numerous times and tried everything they have....not what your looking for brother. If you were looking for an alternative to SPL's or DD VO 6.5's I'd say give them a try for the price, but based on our conversations you will be very disappointed. Might as well grab DD's at that point.

I'm sticking with my Xl's but though of a replacement woofer for the legends if they were too costly. Cross that bridge later. Appreciate the heads up.
Hats off to Focal, I once knew a man who said " I'll deliver you a pink elephant, but I'll never sell you one".
The only reason is to reduce warranty returns. Not trying to steer anyone from Focals, just burned me. Had to call and get xover size and then it went from there.
I also saw on FB where a Focal dealer said you will loose the warranty if there products are not installed by a authorized dealer. I don't know if this is a fact or not. Maybe LL would know.
Then ya read this, "All Focal speakers sold & installed by Soundz as part of our “kits” include a 3-year manufacturers warranty"
All I know for sure is I like the Focals I have now and know I don't have a warranty.
This goes way beyond just Focal Sometimes it is easy to get answers from the manufacturer. But when you get opinions and info that just doesn't add up, hang up and talk to someone you know would know. Arc gave me some good info on my crossover point. Not their speakers just their amp. So it is a hit and miss.
