What a turn this thread took. All I thought when I posted was "I'm not going to let them talk me out of it". Here is where I am: Hog tunes front speakers )I already had them sitting on the shelf), kicker KSC 674 (Crutchfield scratch and dent) $85 for the rear. I will revisit the amp later, then come back around and replace the fronts (unless I can unload them on the Forum or CL). Thanks again!
This is good stuff brother. You may still be on the fence just a tad but you'll thank us later.

Great decision Rider! The guys have given you affordable options that are light years ahead of the boom stuff. Take your time and stack another $200 bucks and you'll have a system that you'll be very happy with. As Bates said. You'll thank us for talking you off the cliff man!! Lol!!
How does the 2000D mount in the batwing (2012) fairing/ is there a wiring harness for it?
Sits directly on top of the radio. Secured by industrial Velcro. No wiring harness. You need to run 8 gauge power and ground to the battery. The power wire will require an 40-60 amp inline fuse. You will use either high level or low level inputs to the amp depending on the HU you are running. Aftermarket. Low level. Stock - High level or Low level with line levelers. The remote wire will be ran from the blue/white wire on the aftermarket HU. Ran to the orange/White wire on the headlight if you're running the stock HU. If you have any more questions we're all here 24/7.
Thanks. I am still running the stock HK head unit. It does have the CB unit in it as well, will that be an issue? Does the HK have low level outputs? Which needs lime leveled? Sorry for all the questions.

Do you use the CB? If not remove it. If you do you'll need to find something to sit beside it that's the same height to level out the amp. Your stock head unit doesn't have low level outputs. Those that choose to convert it to low level use the SNI-35 Line Out Convertor (LOC). If you choose to you can go high level and just use your speaker out wires from your head unit. These will become the inputs for the amp.
This forum is great, I really appreciate all of the help!! I'm having flashbacks to installing amps and subs all of my friend's cars in the 80's!! I am looking forward to digging into this. Speakers should be here Friday, and I am on the lookout for an amp.
