I may thank you later, but I hate you now!! Kickers for the front are ordered, $85 bucks open box from Crutchfield and they provide the adapter rings for free. So basically I have done everything I said I wasn't going to do, and am pretty excited about it all!! I cant wait to start installing all of this stuff, standby for questions on that...

Working through the install in my head, I have a question on the high level inputs. For the front, I can use the speaker terminal ends of the wiring harness, but what should I do for the rear signal? I can pull the all the way back from the pods, but that is a lot of wire, and I would worry about signal loss. I can splice into the lines before they leave the fairing (makes the most sense in my mind), or cut them near harness and run straight to the amp. I want to have the option to go back to stock if need be, I don't plan a new bike (ever), but you never know.

Jason I usually cut them about 8-10"s from the plug. That leaves plenty of room for spicing should you ever need to put it back to stock.

Remove the gas tank, or just the dash?

IMHO, it's a hell of a lot easier and much more effective to pull the tank.

And, I'm guessing the fairing braces stay off...
