I see there is a RCA inputs as well as hi-inputs can I use the RCA and connect them to the Linelevelers
also if I am running 4 ohm speakers what do I need to do to run 4ohm load to the speakers because this amp says its 2ohm I am confused
I have 16RU ultra with tour pack removed for the moment
6x5 4 ohm kickers in front
6x9 4ohm punch in lids
2 BT LL one to front speakers and one to rear lids
Do i have to wire the speakers together to one terminal i.e. both lids positive to one rear positive terminal and same with the negative
I def need help I was was told to get rid of my RF300x4 and I did now I need some help wiring it so I don't blow the speakers

Use the rca. Leave line levelers default. both front and rear gains fully counter clockwise. Doesn't matter what amp says speakers are the load. 4 ohm speaker 4 ohm load. Wire each speaker pos/neg to corresponding terminal. Front left( front left speaker) so on. If you get stuck past this point it may be in your best interest to consult a buddy for help and or find a install shop. We will do best to coach install but you have to be able to have a little grasp of what is being said. Watch a few you tube vids and get some baseline to go from to understand what is being said.
Thanks bro I was able to figure it out I just didn't want to damage everything by just hooking it up. Also i will be adding the fronts I have in now to the tour pack pods so I will have four rears at 4 ohms and fronts I will be getting kappas which are 2ohms
all good but that may take some consulting

Just keep in mind when you add those kappas and put the 4 speakers on the rear run them in parallel ( pos-pos/neg-neg) and the rear will then see 2 ohms on each side. When you run (2) 4 ohm speakers in parallel they are then 2 ohm.
Thank you Slyedog
BTW I ran this yesterday all I can say is WOW what a difference from the PBBR I did have a issue at 3/4 volume after about 10 min it cut off for a second then on then off. I figured the kicker fronts could be the culprit so I faded one notch to the rear 6x9s and dropped the treble and base a little. seems to run smooth now. gains are at 5 for fronts and 6oclock for rears i left the Hrz at 3oclock position should I increase that or leave it there
In the same boat. I am needing an amp. You said that its a big difference from the PBR? How so? My PBR blew my speakers. LUCKILY, they were warrantied. So I am looking for another amp that doesnt say Rockford on it. I was leaning toward the CVb54. But your amp is $100 less.

If your talking about the gain settings on the amp then you are extremely high. Are you running the amp on Flat or HPF?
Thank you Slyedog

Hopefully you are looking at the gains incorrectly ( 5&6 o'clock.) and they are at 11 and 12 which is still pretty high for that set up. I am running the same set up but with different speakers.

If he's out riding around blasting it with the gains turned this high we'll know soon enough.
I am running it on HFP and the gains are turned all the way to the left at zero in that picture I set them by ear using the 3/4 volume and increasing the gains method after I took picture
