Default EG Police simple setup

I'm thinking about a Soundstream ST1000DB amp and a set of Kicker 41KM654CW speakers. Just Bluetooth my tunes and be done with it. Anybody have any experience with either or both of these?
Thanks.

Everything that I have read about the amp Isn't very good. It seems to be putting out a lot of dirty sound. I would recommend a better quality amp with the bluetooth streaming module. There is several available to choose from.

I don't think that amp exist. I'm thinking you mean the SS ST4.1000D. That set up could work with those speakers. But not sure how it's going to sound going down the road. Those speakers are only rated at 60 RMS and can't take much juice. Of course the amp is only throwing 90 watts to the speakers so you should be good there. Just not sure you have enough to hear at speed.

A much better set up would be the NVX MVPA4 amp with a set of Polk MM651 speakers.
The Polks have no lights

Use the Soundstream pn4.1000D and the Kicker 41ksc674. Don't get hung up on the whole marine thing.

Never heard of NVX but I have heard of Polk, my ex bought me some for the bike I killed Bambi with. I looked up the NVX amp. Which BT controller/ receiver do I need (I am a self admitted techno idiot)? I'm seeing a BT receiver and a BT controller (eBay).
Thanks for the responses, I appreciate the guidance.

All you need is this adapter:

The amp and the speakers.

He would be using his phone. All he would have to do is download an app such as Spotify and he could play any song he wants. Loud and clear!! I did this set up on my sons Yamaha believe it or not.
