Subs

Yes, I did a setup for a friend and we put 2-6.75" Kicker subs in the lowers. These were the 1 ohm DVC subs, powered by a HW RS-400 amp put 200W RMS to each speaker.
Light tight crisp bass in the parking lot, could not be heard at all at speed. (really more of a strong mid-bass sound than a sub-bass)
IMO, not worth the money, but it's what he wanted. He is more about bike night than riding.
IMO...put a good set of Arc Moto 602's in your lowers and power the heck out of them, those will make you smile
BTW...My opinion and $5 will get you a good cup of coffee at Starbucks

That said. In that location you need loud and clear. My suggestion is to purchase speakers with 94-97 DB sensitivity for speakers in that location. The Moto's are as good as it gets in that location if you're looking for some bass. They won't be as loud as the need to be. But you'll have a nice warm mid bass if they are powered correctly.
