I was going to say, maybe it's the phone, or the thumb drive, or the way you have the music on your Thumb drive, but if the dealer put a new one in that easily,, I doubt it. (Seems they would have tried to argue that point before ordering a radio)

I thought of up grading my 2010 EG Limited to a water cooled newer one but, something was missing. I presently use my phone with it's music and Pandora, also an ipod, and sometimes the CD PLAYER. Why would the new HD's not have a CD player? Two weeks ago I purchased a new 2017 Mustang and guess what, it has a CD player along with bluetooth, usb ports etc.

When it comes to HD bean counters you guys have no idea...the cats running the mo-co are definitely a different breed. At my first event I sat there in bewilderment at the decision makers in the company lol.
The stock infotainment system is ok...I don't miss it though. Only thing I feel was lost pulling it was the nav which wasn't great to begin with. I'll take my single din head unit and Biketronics Retro Radio kit all day over the factory unit!

what i've noticed over the years is HD is very careful to allow just enough room in the fairing cavity for their own sized head units when designing and manufacturing their inner fairings but just NOT enough for a double din install. 3/4" difference on either 14 and up or pre 14 inner fairings would allow for a double din unit installation.. f*(kers!

I did the same - soft reset of the phone fixed the issue

the infotainment center needs some upgrades to the gps (I still use my zumo) the radio is ok (could use EQ to set sound)
but if you use the bike for Touring the Radar is unbeatable I'm not sure how we got along without one in the past (always stopping to check radar)
