Jensen radio
Hey Guys, I've decided on the Jensen HD1BT radio for my RG Ultra. I have the Hogtunes 4 channel amp. Will this radio plug in with this amp? I see on the back of the HD radio it has 2 large modular plugs where the Jenen has one plug in for a modular plug , and has pigtails for the amp and other stuff. The Hogtunes amp does not have Rca plugs available it's all modular plugs. So how do I hook the amp in and what is that other modular plug for on the HD radio. Yes I have a touring service book but they just call it radio plug? Sorry for my ignorance on this crap and your help will be much appreciated. Thanks, Jim

Well boys, I tried the Jensen and the Aquatic head units out but the sound wasn't what I was hoping for so the Harmon Kardon is back in. I know some are saying I told you so,I hear ya, what I found is the AVC is more import to me than I thought. So the HK will work for this year,I'll do some more research, maybe something different next season. Thanks for all the input on this experiment.

Dunno where you heard that from but the bt avc works just fine with my Sony hu and bt amp.

I was looking at those Jensen units because I have an aftermarket bat wing going on my Fatboy an I don't have audio controls on my bars. Jensen offers a thumb control for their units.

This is misinformation. The Biketronics unit is excellent for retaining AVC.

Retains AVC? i thought it eliminated AVC or we need to turn it off due to gain control issues? did i skim and miss something? because i like/miss my AVC?
