No stupid questions here. I've been all over these forums and I just learned something new thanks to Tailwind!

I've learned quite a few things from tailwind when I was initially putting this together and learned from several others along the way. These forums are my go to place for any knowledge I need to gain. A lot of these guys have forgotten more than I'll ever know. All the help is greatly appreciated
To install the software you will need an empty 8gb or larger thumb drive.
Place the downloaded zip file on the desktop
Right click on the zip file and select Extract All
Open the extracted folder just created and locate the "swdl_boombox_6.5GT.iso" file
This is the only file you want to copy to the thumb drive
Then take the thumb drive and plug it into the USB connection on the bike
Turn the ignition to Acc and click yes to install.
If any of these steps fail, let me know.

Ok will do thanks. I've gotta pick my daughter up in California so leaving town for a week Thursday. May not be able to make this step till I get back. Thanks for your help though it's greatly appreciated. Whenever I'm able to do the update I'll take care of that and report back on the results. Hope to have this figured out before the snow flies.
Thanks buddy. And thanks for the pics. Is that something I buy (if so, where? ) or something I build?
I bet u could make them pretty damn easy but if u just want to slap them in I have seen them online at a few spots including Amazon. I have a local Car Toys chain a mile away and the have boxes of them. About 23 bucks.

Got mine in from Amazon Monday. Description doesn't state that it comes in pairs so I now own 2 sets.
These make enough difference to be worth doing? Any problem with them getting wet in the fairing?
It's kind of like our brothers Haze and Gann have been saying since dirt was a relatively new thing. It's all about the cumulation of details and this is just one additional detail.
As for the moisture concern, would not be concerned but at the same point I would try and get ur fairing to seal up a but tighter as there really aren't many things under the hood that are designed to flourish in water.
