Thanks guys. Like I mentioned earlier I have more than enough in this bike than to just trade it in and start over because I want rear controls as the Limited/Ultras have. I built it my way and am very pleased with the outcome. This project was involved but really wasn't that bad other than not knowing if it really would work, but it did. I am running a 2007 CVO Tourpac because I didn't want to paint match and the black seemed to work on the bike. The 2007 speaker pods had to be slightly modified to look somewhat like '14 and newer setups. Now it is a Streetglide Special, Limited CVO. lol
Getting started..
Buttoned back up...
Modifying the 2007 Tourpac left speaker pod...
Passanger headset port installed...
Modifying the 2007 Tourpac right speaker pod...
Rear controls added, new bezel is on order $5...
Great job on the install brother. Your bike looks too slick. Wondering if I could ask you a quick question... I was going to run that tour pack set up (after I convinced myself to spend the $2000 on it). I've loved it ever since it came out on the 2006 Ultra CVO but everything I read about it including the comments on Harley's website said it wouldn't work with a newer model bikes. Do the saddlebag lids clear or are there any other reasons why doesn't work well with the 14 & ups? Thanks in advance!

Thank you!
Yes the saddlebag lids clear, sort of a dark picture but this is as I am opening the lid. Plenty of clearance.
However, I am running a detachable bracket so that might be why it clears. I cannot answer if you use a stock ridged mount.
On the newer bikes ('14+) the radio antenna terminates out of the harness as a Fakra connector to a coax. I found this adapter that you can use to convert to a female Motorola end.
I was not able to run the antennas on the fender as the stock Streetglide with the tourpac mounted.
Are you planning to run a CB? I only ask this as to the parts you plan to purchase. I believe it was in 2009 HD eliminated the use of the CB load coil. I reversed the FM and CB antenna locations as they were factory on the tourpac. The CB is on the left and cable goes direct to it. The FM was placed on the right and I used the CB load coil(on the right) in-line to help with FM reception. From what I have tested in the garage it picks up more stations than it previously had. The end of the CB load coil is a male Motorola plug (opposite of the link above).
And just FYI, this leather tourpac was only available in 2006 and 2007. I previously owned an '07 CVO with this type of tourpac so I knew going into it that it would only hold 1 full face helmet unlike the larger King tourpacs. Food for thought...some people might want more room than it offers.
