I have been reading the Audio forum for a few years now and am hoping to get some advice on setting up my '17 RGS, I kept my set-up from the '16 RGU I traded, I currently have a BT4180 with mount, Line levelers and break out harness (will this work for lowers??) For speakers I have a set of Kappa's left from an older set-up and Moto 602's and Alpine SPR60's from the Ultra. This was a definite step up from the system I had before that but now looking to take the next step. Reading thru all of the posts has me going in circles, would the DD aw6.5's fit in a RG, work with the BT amp and be a good next step for the Fairing speakers? If so what would be a good speaker for Lowers? I checked and was surprised the Moto's fit but from what I'm reading I don't know that they would be a good option in that location.
Thanks in advance for any advice/recommendations you can offer.
Thanks Tailwind, I will be setting up the BT Amp with the LL's, if I go to the DD AW6.5 in the Fairing do you think the Moto's would be a good speaker to install in the lowers? If not what would be a good speaker to pair with the DD's?
Right now I like the AD Designs CX62 in the lowers paired with the AWs. They bring a good freq range for that location. Priced pretty good too. They can even sit in a fish tank overnight and come out playing music.
Plenty of options though so take your time and let the gang chime in and also check out the vid sticky above.
